Tracy Albee, PHN BSN RN LNCC CLCP FIALCP

Tracy Albee has been an RN since 1987 and resides in Tracy, CA. She holds a BSN from CSUS. She is a Legal Nurse Consultant Certified and a Certified Life Care Planner.  She holds the honor of being recognized as a Fellow of the International Academy of Life Care Planners.  

Tracy Albee has owned or been the principal shareholder of MediLegal, A Professional Nursing Corporation, since 1995. Her expertise includes Life Care Planning, Home Health/Hospice Nursing, Elder Abuse, and Residential Care Facilities.  Her clinical experience includes working with persons of all ages: newborns, pediatrics, adults, and the elderly; as well as individuals with mental disorders and developmental disabilities.   She is the contracted RN Consultant for the California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division.  She previously served in this capacity from 1996 to 2001 and she was re-contracted into this position in the Fall of 2005 to present.       

Tracy Albee works with plaintiff and defense firms across the United States. She is a co-founder of the Greater Sacramento Area Chapter of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants and has served as a Director and Large, President Elect, President, and Past President on several occasions each throughout her membership.  She has also served as a Board Member on the American Legal Nurse Consultant Certification Board and as a member of the Educational Committee for the International Association of Life Care Planners. She has been published in various publications and provides educational programs at a local and national level on the many diversified areas of work that she performs.  She belongs to multiple professional organizations [CV upon request].  

Tracy Albee currently sits on the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultant’s National Board and has several committee positions within that organization.  Ms. Albee is currently Secretary on the Board of Trustees for Sutter Tracy Community Hospital.  In this capacity, she also chairs the Medical Policy Committee as well as sitting on other hospital committees.  She has previously held a Board position for The McHenry House homeless shelter.  She frequently volunteers for organizations such as The Boys and Girls Club; The Festival of the Trees; and several schools in her local area.  

Tracy Albee is married to Oscar Gutierrez, Owner of Valley Technical Services, and they are the parents of five children and two grandchildren.
